The Editor-in-Chief (EIC) has a final responsibility to publish manuscripts after review in the journal independently although he hears opinions of reviewers and editors. The EIC is the final decision maker on publishing and editorial policies and presides over the Editorial Board meetings. When any issue on the publication ethics occurs, the EIC presides over the ad hoc meeting for resolution of each issue and finally decides on the journal’s statement.

• Managing Editor
- Se Hee Hwang, Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, Korea
- Chaeshin Chu, Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, Korea
The Managing Editors help the EIC by screening the submitted manuscript for compatibility with the journals’ aims and scope, whether it is described according to the journal’s style and format, and checking for plagiarism using Similarity Check (iThenticate). They also participate in selecting reviewers for each manuscript. They communicate with the EIC regularly to discuss the review results and decide on acceptance of manuscripts. They can invite authors for commissioned articles. Additionally, they handle budget management and administrative tasks.
• Editorial Coordinator
- Hye-Min Cho, Infolumi, Korea
- Yoonjin Kim, Infolumi, Korea
The Editorial Coordinators oversees all practical aspects of publication, collaborating with language editors, layout editors, XML producers, graphic designers, and others to ensure high-quality publications. They are also responsible for journal promotion and supporting the preparation process for indexing in international databases.
• Manuscript Editor

- Sue Yeon Chung, Infolumi, Korea
The Manuscript Editors review and refine manuscripts to ensure quality and accuracy.
