Dear Readers

I am honored to share this congratulatory message for the publication of the Osong Public Health and Research Perspectives (PHRP), as the editor-in-chief of the journal.

Our international editorial board has about 30 members, comprising senior editors, senior associate editors, and many of the best and brightest minds in public medical health, who are renowned leaders in their fields.

The journal’s progress in 2010 has already been exciting to researchers around the world because they know that PHRP has the potential to become a pioneer journal that will lead public health research in the future.

With a new editorial team in place, along with the production editor from the Elsevier publishing company, the journal will be released every 6 months with a digital version. The digital version, an interactive portal to the world of PHRP, will be launched in 2011, and this will allow access to a digital version of the journal, with online article archives, activities, and feedbacks for our brand-new public health website.

Along with our publisher and the director of Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC), Jong-Koo Lee, MD, PhD, I thank all of you for being committed readers of PHRP, whether you are new to the public health journal or have been reading it for the past years.

The journal contains a lot of exciting cutting-edge information, insights, and educational opportunities for the readers, and I hope everyone will enjoy reading it.
